The RFM42B/43B offers advanced radio features including adjustable poweroutput levels of -8 to +13dBm on the RFM43B and +1 to +20dBmon the RFM42B.Power adjustments are made in 3dB steps. 
The RFM42B/43B'shigh level of integration offers reduced BOM cost while simplifying the overallsystem design. The RFM42B's Industry leading +20dBm output power ensuresextended range and improved link performance.

Additional system features such as an automatic wake-up timer, low batterydetector, 64 byte TX FIFO, and automatic packet handling reduce overall currentconsumption and allow the use of lower-cost system MCUs. An integratedtemperature sensor, general purpose ADC, power-on-reset (POR), and GPIOsfurther reduce overall system cost and size.

The direct digital transmit modulation and automatic PA power ramping ensureprecise transmit modulation and reduced spectral spreading ensuring compliancewith global regulations including FCCETSI regulations.
